Otley in Bloom – new photos

One of the latest members to join the group this year Colin, is a photographer and so we couldn’t resist asking him to take some pictures which show of some of the areas we’ve been working on this year.  I’ve attached a few here and the rest can be seen in the Gallery section and will be used in the brochures next year.  Thanks again Colin and keep them coming, they are great.

Daffodil planting on Newall Carr Bank

On the morning of Tuesday 3rd December Jacquie, Ian, Ernie, David Pearce and David Bellerby planted daffodil bulbs in Otley.

Assisted by members of The Rotary of Otley Chevin and a Clifton resident 3 bags of bulbs were planted on Newall Carr Bank – on the right hand side going up the hill. The idea is to join up with the daffodils previously planted by residents of Clifton. It was an enjoyable morning and the weather was perfect for planting.

Replanting the wooden planters in Otley

A very productive Sunday morning initiated by Jacquie. Otley in Bloom members Edie, Mary, Jacquie, Ian and Maria trimmed, weeded and planted 15 Instaplanta planters between them. The picture shows David just across the road from Beks, sorting out the planter by the traffic lights.
