The daffodils by the police station, which we planted two or three years ago, are looking lovely in this spring sunshine.

The snowdrops that we planted around Otley in September are beginning to flower. We began to see them early in January, and now with any luck they should be showing at all the sites where we planted them. There are definitely snowdrop flowers at Gasworks Corner and Bremner Street, more are appearing all the time. Thank you again to everyone who helped us.
Otley in Bloom and the Rotary planted more daffodils along Rotary Way.

On 1st November we had two tasks to do.
Some of us worked at Bremner Street doing some pruning, including cutting back an oversized prickly shrub that was growing out over the pavement.
Others started on a new project, helping to improve the garden at the front of the Fire Station beside Sainsburys. They planted up a tub of Fiery plants (I think the names are fiery, not the actual plants), and removed loads of elder and brambles from the rose garden. More is planned – watch this space.
