Last autumn we cleared a small patch of land beside Craven Street, planted daffodils and sowed grass, and now we’ve added a lovely new bench for the benefit of local residents and passers-by.

The last bicycle from our Tour de France display has had a facelift, and is now in its permanent home by the library. It is our noticeboard, so if you ever want to know what we are up to or our next activity you can join in with, just check out the bicycle!!!

We’ve given the square wooden planters around Otley a spring clean and added some Spring flowers. It took quite a gang of us to do this as there are quite a few planters to look after. The sun shone and we enjoyed planting some bright primulas and generally tidying up.

On Sunday 22nd March we’ll be doing a bit of planting and tidying of the square wooden planters in town. If you’d like to come and help us, we’re meeting at the Buttercross at 10am. If you’ve got gardening gloves and a trowel please bring them (but we’ve got spares if you haven’t).
On a cold November day members of Otley in Bloom along with members of the Rotary Club planted many more daffodils along the bypass, now named Rotary Way.
