Container planting demonstration on 17th April

Join us for a container planting demonstration, followed by a cheese and wine supper and a stroll around the Courtyard Planters Nursery

Otley in Bloom are teaming up with Courtyard Planters to help you fall in love with your patio. Starting at 7pm on 17 April, watch a demonstration of a planter being created which could grace your garden all year round and learn the tricks to creating the best container garden display. After the demonstration you will be able to ask questions, enjoy a cheese and wine supper and browse in the Courtyard Planters nursery and garden.

Tickets cost £7 per person and should be booked in advance through the contact information. All profits will go towards the floral displays in Otley and supporting the work of Otley in Bloom.

Our next task force on 22nd March

On Sunday 22^nd March we’ll be doing a bit of planting and tidying of the square wooden planters in town. If you’d like to come and help us, we’re meeting at the Buttercross at 10am. If you’ve got gardening gloves and a trowel please bring them (but we’ve got spares if you haven’t).

Yellow bikes everywhere

We’ve installed yellow bikes with yellow boxes of yellow flowers all over Otley to welcome and celebrate the Tour de France Grand Depart on 5th July. You’ll have seen the finished results so we thought you’d like to see some photos of us setting them up. On 25th May we put them on the roundabouts, before the Summer bedding was planted by the Parks Dept.
